Reviews
I think we caught them on a bad day but the service was painfully slow in the ordering and delivery to table. Possibly a crisis in the kitchen. The crepes, when they came were delicious but 1 1/2 hours for 2 crepes is not good enough. Service was out of order with others served before us. Sorry to the patron but it is worth reviewing your day with your staff to find out what went wrong.
A real find - an authentic French crêperie, friendly and welcoming staff, and you can watch your crêpes being cooked. You won’t be disappointed. We went twice, yum yum 😋
This was a lovely, welcoming place with truly delicious galettes and crêpes. They have a very large selection of both, of the savory and sweet varieties. My husband, two teens and I all enjoyed our choices and had dessert. I can't remember the names of what we had but my galette had cheese and leeks, my husband and daughter both chose the one with duck and mushrooms, but my son's was our favorite all around the table, it had cheese and potatoes inside and was topped with lettuce and a tangy, slightly spicy tomato sauce. All were really delicious and freshly made to order. For dessert I really don't remember what the guys ordered, probably something involving nutella :), but my daughter got the ice cream sundae, which was delicious, with house-made, artisinal ice cream. I had a simple crêpe with strawberry jam (also made in house), and it was perfect in every way and topped with fresh whipped cream. They definitely have a large selection. They also serve sodas from a local Brittany soda company, which we found lovely. Two of us had their lemonade soda (which was a lot like Sprite but very refreshing) and two had their version of coke. We also finished off with coffee, which was really lovely.
We were there around 7pm on a Saturday evening and we were seated right away and service was fast and friendly. Our French is very simple and the waitress worked very hard to help us with her limited (bit still very good) English and kept a very kind attitude throughout the meal. It really was one of our favorite meals in France, and a lot of that had to do with the friendly staff, the historical building and the lovely food. This stop is a must. It is also right next to the castle, so great to combine with your sightseeing.
Very beautiful 16th century house. Delicious and friendly staff. The toilet is not very clean though.
Good crêpes, fast and friendly service, reasonable price!
We went for a family day out walking around Fougéres, but only after a lovely lunch here! Very friendly staff, all menus in French and English, great old-world charm to the building and very, very tasty food! Far too many delicious options for just one visit, so we will be returning in the near future! If you like galletes/crepes, old world building charm and you appreciate friendly, attentive staff, I cannot recommend Creperie Tivabro highly enough.
Had a beautiful lunch here, all freshly cooked food, presented well and tasted even better. The staff are so friendly and work hard to make the experience special . Also the most amazing ciders . Will make this a regular place to eat, but its popular
The food was amazing, special the crepe flambé La Saint-suplice. Both salted and sweet crepes were the best I have ever had after a year living in France. The ambiance is really cozy and service was lovely. :)
Good Crêperie, the ingredients are very good quality and fresh. Fast service. Friendly waiters. The prices are very correct and we tried they special cappuccino! More expensive than a classic one but very tasty.
Great galettes in a lovely setting. We had a quick lunch stop as part of an onward journey, maybe a little pricey, but worth it.
